There are a variety of factors that influence a client’s decision to treat their pets: Not everyone can afford the “gold standard,” nor does everyone want lengthy or difficult treatments for their pets. But that doesn’t mean they have no options.

The term “spectrum of care,” though relatively new, isn’t a foreign concept by any means. In fact, veterinarians are masters of offering a range of care options at different price points and commitment levels to ensure animals get the treatment they need to live healthy, happy lives for as long as they can.

In this episode, we are joined by Dr. Steven Budsberg, who is leading a new area of MVC programming dedicated to spectrum of care. He explains what spectrum of care means for the veterinary team and offers a sneak peek of what attendees will learn by attending the Canine Spectrum of Care track at the 2024 MVC.
