Nora Hickey, DVM
Washington Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory – Pullman, Wash.
Dr. Hickey is been the Aquatic Health Laboratory Manager at the Washington Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory in Pullman, Wash. Previously, she worked at Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission in Olympia, where she provided veterinary services to Pacific salmon for Western Washington treaty Indian tribes. Dr. Hickey is the recipient of the Washington State Veterinary Medical Association (WSVMA)’s 2022 Outstanding Veterinary Service Award in recognition of her leadership in fish medicine and for improving tribal aquaculture in Washington State. She is the immediate past president of the American Association of Fish Veterinarians.
